Perfume (fragrance) painting is a great option for retail events where customers can select an image, leisurely shop, and come back to pick up their personalized items. Custom paintings take up to 20-30 minutes per bottle to allow for layered paint colors and drying time. These events were surrounding the Lunar New Year and Valentines weekends at Byredo Americana, Byredo Nordstrom - The Grove, and Byredo Melrose.
I celebrated Lunar New Year with Byredo Bloomingdales (SCP) by personalizing red envelopes as a gift with purchase. The envelopes were personalized with common Lunar New phrases and guest names.
Over the holidays I did several events with Byredo. For the Byredo boutique at the Americana, Glendale, I engraved their fragrances and candles. For Byredo wholesale at Nordstrom, I personalized holiday cards.
For two days, I personalized red envelopes for Canada Goose at South Coast Plaza to celebrate Lunar New Year in Southern California. Guests had the option of selecting from two Chinese phrases (Happy Lunar New Year or Wishing you Prosperity), or selecting from English phrases. Many guests also prefer to simply have their name beautifully hand-calligraphed. LYN events are always a fun time to share about the red envelope traditions with boutique guests.
SOSHE held a holiday party in Venice, California. I personalized 60+ of their signature cosmetic bags with hot foil calligraphy. Guests got to select between silver or gold foil for their personalization.
Amazon Alexa held an epic holiday event to celebrate the launch of its latest Alexa release. I personalized ornaments for guests with their choice of ink color and customization wording.
I engraved 50+ candles for the launch event for Maison Louis Marie at their pop-up location (The Platform, Culver City). I personalized candles with my signature lettering styles and flourishes.
I personalized 50+ pillcases for an influencer event with HUM Nutrition at Bravo Toast in West Hollywood.
For the Guess x Get In Touch Foundation Event, I engraved 40+ watches with guest names at the Guess Beverly Hills boutique. Attendees had the option of selecting from a pink or black watch. The pink decor, pink watches, and floral bouquets and vases celebrated the pink theme for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Glossier celebrated its 10th anniversary with a birthday celebration. 🎉 They offered complimentary engraving for any candle purchase and launched a limited edition Birthday Cake candle. The birthday theme resonated with some customers as three ladies came to get commemorative candles for their birthday celebrations to celebrate their 16th, 21st, and 30th birthdays. In total I engraved 45 candles for the event.
My friend and I engraved 80 glass beer stein mugs for an in-house corporate mixer event at Netflix with a Beer theme. Guests personalized their beer steins with one name, one word, or initials.
This weekend I engraved two days at the La Fermiere yogurt pop-up in Silver Lake which was wildly popular. On Thursday, I engraved 32 empty yogurt containers for content creators to promote the pop-up and the engraving activation. On Saturday, I engraved a full day and completed 180+ containers for the guests. 🤩
I freehand engraved all the words and flourishes on the ceramic containers, and completed each engraving in less than a minute. The moment I arrived on Saturday, there were a handful of people who showed up early for my engraving services. And throughout the day, customers told me they came to the pop-up mainly for my engravings. ☺️

Primally Pure hosted a rebranding event at the Lombardi House in Los Angeles. There were several activations, including a matcha bar, smoothie bar, butter bar, meditation ground, ear seeding, and engraving. I engraved 80 Bian Stone Gun Shuas in 3.5 hours with guest names or inspirational words.

I personalized 60 beautiful wood combs at the launch event for ROZ ‘s new Foundations Hair Mask at Mare Salon in West Hollywood. The combs were hand engraved in a minimalist capital lettering style. The personalized comb also serves as a keepsake and photo sharing moment for the content creators.

It was so fun to visit the L’oreal headquarters in El Segundo, Los Angeles. L’oreal headquarters hosted the Ulta Collective event where I had the opportunity to engrave on behalf of Vichy. I engraved 60+ serums for Ulta’s new influencers with names, initials and hashtags.
